I’m apparently gonna be on a roll and I
thought I’d talk about all the loots I’ve piled on in my room since I started
beauty blogging :P First in line is the loot I got from two bloggers who hosted
a Shiseido workshop: Rowena of Animetric's World and Kumiko Mae of Loving Sunshine. I’ve talked about Rowena’s workshop here and I just realized that I never got to posting about Kumi’s workshop! Boo.

Bioperformance is
Shiseido’s main line against aging. I’m glad to have gotten both the serum and
eye cream from the same line, but aging isn’t really my concern and I don’t
think I can properly review these.
Some quick impressions:
- Bioperformance serum - applies silky, satin-smooth the second I spread it onto my face. This would be a great primer as it’s instantly dry, but would be insufficient for people like me with parched skin. Also, I don’t know how comfortable you’d be using such a specialized product for a very simple purpose.
- Bioperformance eye cream – hydrating and doesn’t seep into my eyes. It has the perfect consistency that it’s liquid enough to not force me to rub my eyes, but not too much that it seeps into my eyes.
- Vital Perfection cream – formulated for wrinkles, sagging skin and laugh lines. The sample was too small to notice any difference. Additionally, I don’t have wrinkles yet to observe.
- Retinol mask - piling up in my box since I reviewed it here. I’ve decided to road test it using different toners. It’d be lovely if I could get the same effect without having to waste my beloved Shiseido Benefiance WrinkleResist 24 Softener.
I'm a huge fan of the brand's skincare and I'm glad to get two bags of samples from attending these two fun events! I would hoard the Benefiance Softener, if I could, but alas, I must look beyond the horizon and keep exploring new skincare products.
If anyone cares, I’m
still waiting for a restock of the old (2010 manufactured) Bronzer #01 I bought
when I attended Kumi’s workshop. If it’s still not available soon, I might ask
for a branch inventory exchange or an item exchange, but I really like that
bronzer and I don't like old makeup and I hope they can replace itttttt L
