South friends, rejoice! Alabang Town Center recently launched their shopping rewards program; Townie Titles. Just sign up through TownieTitles.AlabangTownCenter.com and it'll lead you to the Townie Titles Facebook app!
The Rewards:
The program is basically a race for the most points. Every Php 500 single-receipt purchase earns you one point, and every odd-number of points (1, 3, 5, 7, 9...) earns you a badge. Simply present each receipt to the concierge and they will issue a unique alpha-numeric code to you. Enter this code through the Facebook app to earn points.
When you get the 10th badge in any category, you automatically qualify to join the Townies' party on May 30th- the promo itself ends on May 9th. The person with the most points in each category will win a mystery gift and a Php 10,000 shopping spree at ATC. In case of a tie, I believe the amount spent will be the tie-breaker.
Now, what kind or rewards program would it be if only a handful of Townies get rewarded? Everyone has a chance to win through the Test Your Township quiz. Simply take the test on TestYourTownship.AlabangTownCenter.com
If it's your first time to take the quiz, you get a free gift for sharing your Test Your Township result. The good news is, the quiz changes every month so you can claim gifts at least once a month!

Last February 28, media partners were given a chance to experience the Townie Titles program from start to finish. Since I'm such a benevolent person who has no shot of winning way up here in the north, I'm sharing a few strategies I developed to help you win ALL THE POINTS!
- Set up at home
There's free wifi in the mall but it wasn't very fast. We had a limited time to shop so it was really inconvenient to be stuck at the concierge waiting for the apps and pages to load.
I had trouble taking the quiz through my mobile and had to squish in on the concierge's desktop to finish the quiz. I felt like such a nuisance being anchored to their desk while they attended to other queries.
It's best to register, take the quiz and share the result at home. This way, you can simply breeze through the concierge desk and save everyone's time.
- Break your receipts
I already said before shopping that I'd break my receipts, but of course all the saliva frothing out of my mouth distracted me from my mission. My two lippies cost Php 1450 each but I only earned one point instead of two, because I forgot to have the cashier break the transaction.
Obviously, this will be impossible for some items but it helps to pay attention, unlike I did!
